Who we are

This website is operated by LINXS Advisory Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17069206), with its registered office at 1 Kings Avenue, London N21 3NA. LINXS Advisory Ltd is the controller of the personal data described in this notice.

What we collect

• Information you send us. If you email us or use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, organisation and anything you choose to tell us.
• Business contact details. Where we work with you or your organisation, we hold your name, role, work contact details and our correspondence.
• Technical data. When you visit the site, our hosting and delivery providers automatically process your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and keep it secure.

The interactive tools on this site, including the SS1/23 AI Model Check, run in your browser. Your answers and inputs are not sent to us or stored by us.

How we use it and our legal basis

• To respond to your enquiry and discuss a possible engagement — our legitimate interest in running our business, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
• To deliver and manage engagements — performance of a contract with you or your organisation.
• To send occasional insights to business contacts who would reasonably expect them — our legitimate interest. You can opt out at any time by replying to any message.
• To operate and secure the website — our legitimate interest in providing a working, secure site.
• To meet legal obligations, such as keeping accounting records.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the site and our business, who process data on our behalf:

• Netlify — website hosting.
• Cloudflare — content delivery, security and email address protection.
• Google Fonts — the site loads fonts from Google, which receives your IP address when a page loads.
• Our email provider, and professional advisers such as accountants where required.

Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by UK adequacy regulations (including the UK–US data bridge) or by approved contractual safeguards.

Cookies

This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting and delivery providers may use strictly necessary technical cookies to deliver the site securely; these do not require consent.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for up to two years after our last contact, unless it leads to an engagement. Engagement records are kept for six years after the engagement ends, to meet legal and accounting requirements. Hosting logs are kept by our providers for their standard periods.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data erased, or its use restricted, in certain circumstances;
• object to our use of your data based on legitimate interests, including for marketing;
• receive your data in a portable format, where applicable.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
